Configuring iPhone's

  1. If this is the first e-mail account on your iPhone, tap Mail. Otherwise, tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account.
  2. Tap Other.
  3. Tap in the Name box and enter your full name.
  4. Tap in the Address box and enter your full e-mail address (example: john@mydomain.com)
  5. Tap in the Password box and enter your password. If you don't know it, click here for instructions on how to view or change it.
  6. Tap Save (or Next).
  7. Change it from IMAP to POP.
  8. Fill in the rest of the information:
    Incoming Mail Server
    Host Name: enter the mail server (example: mail.mydomain.com)
    User Name: enter the full email address (example: john@mydomain.com)
    Password: (Same Password As Before)

    Outgoing Mail Server
    Host Name: enter the mail server (example: mail.mydomain.com)
    User Name: enter the full email address (example: john@mydomain.com)
    Password: (Same Password As Before)
  9. Tap Save to save the entered information. Your iPhone will then verify your account information. This may take several minutes.
  10. You will see a message that says "Cannot Connect Using SSL. Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?", tap Yes. Your iPhone will then verify your account information again. This may take several minutes.
  11. You will see a message that says "The Pop server mail.mydomain.com is not responding. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the incoming mail server field." Tap Ok (or Continue)
  12. Tap Save. You will see another message that says "This account may not be able to send or receive emails. Are you sure you want to save?" Tap Save again.
  13. You will be taken back to the Mail, Contacts, Calendars screen. Under Accounts, tap on the email address you just set up.
  14. Scroll down near the bottom and locate the Outgoing Mail Server section. Under there tap on SMTP mail.domain (example: mail.mydomain.com)
  15. In the Primary Server section, tap on mail.domain again. (example: mail.mydomain.com)
  16. Change the Server Port from 25 to 2525
  17. That's it. You can return to the home screen, open your Mail program, and compose a test message.
