Hours: 8AM – 5PM MT, Mon-Fri
Education and Certification Requirements
- High School
- Post secondary education in accounting or bookkeeping
Skills, Experience and Ability Requirements
- 5+ years experience in a bookkeeping role, preferably with Quickbooks Pro.
- Quickbooks Pro.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of financial statements.
- Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Excellent spoken English. Ability to establish immediate rapport with customers.
- Written English. Ability to create financial reports for company president.
- Logical thinking skills and ability to fix issues with accounting errors, etc.
- Impeccable time management. Reliably delivers according to agreed-upon deadlines. Contributes to all aspects of the department, including management policy.
- Candidate is confident and able to offer and implement insightful policies in the department. Candidate works well with a team.
Position Duties
- Full-cycle bookkeeping (invoicing, A/R, tax preparation, reporting, payroll, customer billing inquiries)
- Fixing any and all outstanding issues with books
- Using online Customer Relationship Management tools to record communication with customers
- Understanding governmental requirements for taxes and payroll
- Reporting accounting issues to management
- Maintaining and improving our accounting system
