So you’ve got a great website – now what? How do you turn it into a money-maker? Check out this simple formula…
(Targeted) Traffic=Money
We spend a lot time talking about how to increase traffic to your real estate website. Google adwords, and other search engine advertising, although quick and easy ways to drive traffic, counts as paid advertising, so it doesn’t belong in this article. Fresh out of ideas? Not so fast…
1. Ezine Articles
In a previous blog post we talked about being the local real estate expert. Now, I’m assuming that you’ve read this previous article and have already put some content on your website about your city, neighborhood, or other real estate specialty. Now, write another similar article on a web magazine like ezinearticles.com and include your name and a link to your website. There’s an easy backlink to your website from a page with extremely relevant content.
2. External Teaser Blogs
This one’s quick: register a new blog at real-estate-blog and include a few teaser lines and links to each of your website pages and blog articles. Every time you post a new blog article on your website, post a summary on your external blog with a link back to your site. And people told you quality back-links were hard!
3. 15-Second Comments
Comment on blog articles. You could start with this blog, although the content may not be hugely relevant to your site. Perhaps this posting comparing real estate to stocks might be more relevant to your site’s content.
4. Make your mark on Real Estate Forums
Go to Google and type in “Real Estate Forums.” There are lots. Find a relevant one with an active contributor base and start linking back to your real estate website.
If you spend 5 minutes a day following these simple tips, you’ll start seeing results within 1-2 weeks. That’s about as much time as it takes to watch these silly animal videos: 1, 2, 3.

Sounds Great! Thanks for the tip! Always looking for ways to have a good website presence for my clients.
